Ali Baigelenov

I am a PhD candidate in Technology at Purdue University, advised by Dr. Paul Parsons. My research is situated at the intersection of human-computer interaction and information visualization, where I study technology-mediated creativity via examining how designers find and use inspiration, conceptualize creativity, and integrate AI tools into their creative practice.

I am also currently serving as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at SDU University, Kazakhstan. I am currently on the academic job market for positions starting Fall 2026.
