Ali Baigelenov

I am a researcher in human-computer interaction and information visualization. I recently completed my PhD in Technology at Purdue University, advised by Dr. Paul Parsons. My research studies technology-mediated creativity by examining how designers find and use inspiration, conceptualize creativity, and integrate AI tools into their creative practice.

I am currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at SDU University, Kazakhstan and am on the academic job market for postdoctoral and faculty positions starting Fall 2026/2027.
