About

My research studies technology-mediated creativity by examining how designers find and use inspiration, conceptualize creativity, and integrate AI tools into their creative practice.

I am currently an Assistant Professor and Chair of the Department of Computer Science in the School of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at KIMEP University, Kazakhstan and a Senior Lecturer in the School of Information Technology and Applied Mathematics at SDU University, Kazakhstan. I completed my PhD in Technology at Purdue University in 2026, advised by Paul Parsons.
